Presentation of COMJunts, the app-web that helps families who have a child with a rare disease to travel through the main communicative situations with health professionals. The main thread of the COMJUNTS app are 7 challenges that invite families to situate themselves in different communicative situations and to face the challenges of each one. These are examples of some of these situations: the day they tell us that we have a boy or girl who has a rare disease; when we have a medical visit; when they give us a medical report; or when it is necessary for our son or daughter to have a medical test. Each challenge consists of a video with direct testimonies from affected families and health professionals, a hypertext adapted to the cognitive needs of families, a basic dictionary addressed to the patient and complementary information on tips, resources and links of interest.
